Clinique’s been at for a long time, with many lines of skin care products and facial cleansers over the years. So, is their new Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum a new hit for the company, or another product flop that they’ll be sweeping under the rug in a few months?
Well to start off, we had several women use this over a two week period. All were instructed to follow the instructions completely, and to be sure not to miss a usage time (i.e. if the product says to use it once per day, don’t miss a day). And initially, the test seemed pretty promising. Almost all of us found some great qualities while using the product. For example, some of the most common thoughts on the product were that it has a very smooth texture, didn’t cause any of us any types of skin irritations what so ever, and is very fast and easy to apply.
That being said, the overall goal of any of these type of products should be results. That’s what we’re all about in our product tests and reviews. That means both immediate results whilst using the product, and much more importantly, long lasting results after stopping use of the product in question.
Unfortunately, this one didn’t hold up. Nearly every one of us testing Clinique’s Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum reported that there were no real or significant results or improvement to either our skin or pores. And again, no lasting results either. We were even tested in lab conditions (thanks for the favor, Will and Lane!), and the findings were conclusive that there was no reduction in our pore sizes / or facial skin at all.
So, in conclusion, it’s a nice product to use, and there were no gripes there, but when it comes to actual results, this product simply falls flat.
